• О себе:Lauran Irion is a singer, songwriter and actor who can currently be seen playing Laura Vaughn Sunday nights on the new ABC hit comedy “GCB” with Kristin Chenoweth and Annie Potts, one of the most talked about shows of the year. Originally from Florida, Lauran moved with her mother to Los Angeles at the young age of 14. She has since achieved unusual success with her recurring role as Gia on Disney’s “I’m In The Band”, Jade on ABC Family’s popular series “Melissa And Joey" and a large following on her YouTube channel where she often performs live for her fans. Lauran's love for singing began at eight years of age, and led her to begin lessons in voice and then on guitar. She has performed in numerous theater, church and choir events. Lauran eventually began to perform as a soloist. She has performed live for the Tampa Bay Rays, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Clearwater Threshers, political fundraisers and for numerous community events. Recently Lauran was the opening act for the popular band Lifehouse in addition to headlining her own concerts. Riding on the success of her YouTube and Twitter following, Lauran will soon be releasing Unaffected, her highly anticipated debut EP as a singer/songwriter. These days, a large global online following is helpful for any artist launching a recording career, but the key to turning promise into success is delivering unique and memorable original songs. While the themes on Unaffected will captivate and inspire Lauran’s teenage peers, the dynamic songwriting, vocals, electric guitar driven production and stylistic diversity transcend simple age and gender demographics and, thankfully, the usual trappings of Disneyesque teen pop that many artists her age favor. Extending the metaphor of the EP title itself, no one who listens will be Unaffected by Lauran’s talent, charm and musical vision. “For me, it’s always been a spiritual feeling when I’m playing, writing and singing,” Lauran says, “like it’s an escape from the other side of my mind. I’m a very hard working, driven person, and I was attracted to music because when it washes over me, I feel so relaxed. As long as the opportunities for great roles are there, I will pursue them because I love acting as well, but my first love has always been music.
