I have been a meditator for many decades. I got interested in Buddhism when I was living in Amsterdam, there to bicycle race. Since then, it has been my main interest in life, but I don't proselytize or try to convince anyone to convert. In fact, other than my fellow Buddhists, most people do not know I practice. It has benefited me tremendously in developing patience, empathy and concentration, but it leads to a different life style than the mainstream. It's a very good life, just different.

Schubert, Mozart, Chopin, Mahler, Schuman, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Paul Butterfield, U2, Tony Williams, Wagner, The Byrds, and too many others of all genres to mention. I prefer live concerts, orchestral, opera and chamber music. I was fortunate to see and hear the best musicians of classical, orchestral and jazz music in the years i lived in or near Boston.
