• О себе:Powermix FM Radio was founded by Jimmy Golfi aka DJ JimmyG. The name Powermix comes from the inspiration of a station that can play multiple dance genre’s in order to serve multiple listeners. The word FM was implemented at the end because our primary goal is to play Live on Digital Radio located around the UK as well as other countries that also supports this. The station started to officially broadcast in April 2009 having only once music channel playing Trance Music, and also live shows from the founder himself on a weekly basis. After 2 months, Powermix FM started to do business with Internet Radio Services located in the UK in order to have 2 music stream channels… And the dream came true! Powermix started recruiting new DJ’s and finally had over 20 DJ’s and Live shows every week. The station started its promotion in some ways using FREE methods and in paying methods too. On average, Powermix had 20 listeners tuned in from around the Globe on a daily basis. But because the station wasn’t properly organised from the start, and had to pay out a lot of money per week, it was forced to close down on 10th January 2010. Jimmy Golfi, after thinking about this, re-organised the station from the beginning using a different scenario that could bring Powermix FM back to life. After a few months, Powermix did come back to life on 5th November 2010 with a bang, and now has more support than ever… AND PEOPLE LOVE IT!!! Now the station is stronger than ever and offers its members and audience many interesting things from inside the Website… LIVE CHAT with special features like AUDIO DEDICATION to the DJ playing Live and also DIRECT CALL to the Live show. These features have never been shown on any other Internet Radio Station, so the Powermix FM Listeners will get more enjoyment. Social Networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter have also been implemented into the Station to let the listeners talk direct to the DJ as well as keeping informed with regular updates. AUDIO and VISUAL CONFERENCE are featured here as well as Online Games and much, much more. But lets not forget about the Music. We now have more DJ’s than before and still recruiting to fill our ever increasing Schedule. Not only do we have Live Shows, but we also have weekly, bi-weekly and monthly Podcasts from all over the World, who don’t have access to a microphone. Our Station has been recently modified to remain as a single player station for now, but this may change next year…If the station becomes more popular, we may move to become a multi player station. This would enable our listeners to choose which Genre they would be most happy to listen to. At the moment, we are solely concentrating on just 2 Genres (House & Trance) as these Genres are proving to be very popular as we start to maintain a good listener base. Also on the station we have a LIVE TV section…All DJ’s that have access to a webcam or even a camera that is set up through their computer or studio, can have their show broadcast LIVE via this section. Again, a very unique addition, as no other station has this tool in their arsenal
